General Educational Development (GED) Preparation

Gaining a GED 12 equivalency can provide you with an alternative high school standing. Completing your GED may help you qualify for a better job or gain admittance to some post-secondary institutions. The preparation classes will prepare you to write the GED exam by refreshing your skills, familiarizing you with the test format and building your confidence in taking timed tests. Practice tests and instruction in subject areas (Language Arts Writing, Language Arts Reading, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics) will be covered.

Attendance is mandatory the first two nights for the writing of predictor tests in the five subject areas.

Textbooks can be purchased at the SIAST Bookstores. Classes may be cancelled if there is insufficient student enrolment.
