Power Engineering, Fireman “Prep”, Online (ENGP 1805)

This online course is intended to assist students to prepare to write the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) Limited Power Engineering (Fireman’s Certificate) exam. Topics include: Low pressure heat boilers, fuel and firing equipment, automatic controls, pumps, piping fittings, valves, steam and hot water heating, ventilation, basic electricity, and the Boiler Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations. This is not a graded course; students receive confirmation of attendance from SIAST. Provincial testing is not included – contact the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK)(1-866-530-8599 to book an exam sitting).
