Electronic Devices and Applications (ELTR 1800)

You will study electronic devices, both discrete and integrated, commonly used in industrial and general-purpose circuits. You will either apply the device in a breadboard circuit or follow a demonstration of it. Topics covered include: rectifier diodes and circuits, filters, regulators, LED’s and optoisolation, thyristors, bipolar and FET transistors, operational amplifiers and timer IC’s.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Electricity, or equivalent
