Operating System Fundamentals (COOS 181)

You will be introduced to the purpose and architecture of various operating systems. You will be provided an overview of the major operating system functions; installation, configuration and administration. This course incorporates one 3 hour hands-on final exam that must be completed at SIAST Kelsey Campus in Saskatoon.

Hardware/Software requirements: An up-to-date computer and browser

Prerequisites: Data Communications & Networking 1 (Concurrent)
