Community and Economic Development (RT 289)

The course provides an introduction to the concept, history, importance and models of community and economic development. You will explore the rationale for having community and economic development as a part of the process in the recreation and tourism profession. You will also examine the roles and responsibilities of staff working in a community and economic development capacity.
