Machine Shop I: Lathe (MACH 1800)

This essential first course in lathe work will provide experience in selection and preparation of lather tooling, shop safety, precision measure, and speed and feed calculations. The project work will provide ample hands-on experience in rough and finish turning, parting, facing drilling, tapping, taper cutting with compound rest, boring and turning with carbide.

Please bring proper eye protection, work gloves and work boots.
