Medical Language (MED 1600)

You will develop the skills needed to understand, spell and pronounce medical terms. Analyzing components (prefixes, suffixes and combining forms) will help you learn basic terminology. The learning material is organized by body systems (i.e. circulatory, respiratory and nervous) and provides a basic overview of anatomy and human body functions. You will work through the textbook on your own and write exams near or in your own community. Telephone tutor not available.
