Self-Hypnosis (PERS 1802)

Hypnosis is the careful use of language and mental processes to create an altered state of consciousness (a trance state) which leads to a greater openness to change. Through this course, you will learn to develop skills for personal trance, not the hypnotizing of others. Hypnosis has been found to be effective in promoting greater relaxation, pain relief, study abilities and self-confidence. It may also assist with habit oriented problems such as smoking and dieting. Instructor: Brian McDonald BA, Med.
