Health Information Practicum 1 (PRAC 165)

You will apply your previously learned theory and experience in health information management while working in a health care agency. Your practicum will focus on coding. You will have an opportunity to practice abstracting and presenting data.

Note: Students must register for this class no later than January 9th, 2015. Travel may be required for practicum site

Prerequisites: Anatomy and Physiology 2, Clinical - Coding 2, Workplace Communication, Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint and Web Publishing, Introduction to Microsoft Excel I, Health Information Analysis 1, Pathophysiology 3
