Solid Works Essentials Level 1 (CAD 1837)

Whether you are a beginner or have used other CAD applications in the past, this course can help you take your design skills to an entirely new level. This hands-on course enables you to explore the powerful, innovative and easy to-use 3D mechanical design software. This course teaches you how to build parametric solid models of parts and assemblies, and how to make drawings of those parts and assemblies. The topics covered in this course include, introduction to sketching, basic part modelling, revolved features, linear and circular patterns, thin walled parts, shelling and ribs, configuration of parts, detail drawing basics, bottom-up assembly modelling, exploded assemblies, bills of materials and assembly drawings.
