Web Design Using XHTML, HTML and CSS (COAP 1865)

In this course, you will begin by examining the basics of foundational web technology and create your own functional web pages with text, graphics and data tables using markup languages such as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). You will then create advanced web pages (e.g., advanced navigation; incorporate meta-content and multimedia) and test their validity. Finally you will use CSS properties and HTML elements to enhance the usability and professionalism on your web pages.

Prerequisites: Familiar with using personal computers, comfortable in the Windows environment, and managing files and folders
