Building Websites with Joomla! (COAP 1847)

Joomla is a popular Open Source Content Management System (CMS) that will enable you to make professional, full-featured websites quickly and efficiently. Joomla requires no technical knowledge of coding and can be easily extended and customized using an incredible range of over 4000 available extensions (e.g. Flash-driven image and video galleries, shopping carts, forums, event calendars). In this course you will learn how to administer, customize and maintain a Joomla website, how to add and upload article pages and images; manage documents for download in your pages; how templates work and where to find them; how to create menus to working with extensions and templates.

Prerequisites: Not for beginner computer users, however, no previous web development skills are required. Strong windows file management skills are essential.
