Orientation to Therapeutic Recreation (THRC 187)

Your studies will help you develop an understanding of the diversity of the field of therapeutic recreation. You will focus on understanding the agency, the needs of the client population and the role of therapeutic recreation in supporting diverse individuals. The specific skills needed to work in the field will also be examined. The course will prepare you for later practicums and course work and help you confirm your career choice.
