Early Childhood Education Certificate Practicum 2 (PRAC 105)

Building on the skills and knowledge that you have developed through your courses, you will demonstrate your ability to interact positively with children and adults. You will use your observation skills to develop developmentally appropriate curriculum. You will implement the curriculum and guide children’s behaviour effectively.

You must be assessed for practicum readiness by practicum advisor prior to registration.

Prerequisites: Early Childhood Education Certificate Practicum 1, Employability Skills, Health, Safety and Nutrition, Interpersonal Communications, Programming for Cognitive Development, Programming for Creative Arts Development, Programming for Language Development, Programming for Social and Emotional Development, Role of Play in Early Childhood Education, Roles and Values of the Early Childhood Educator, completion of all ECE theory courses and PRAC 104
