Disability Support Worker Certificate Practicum 2 (PRAC 383)

Building on the experience you gained in your first practicum, you will develop greater independence and expand the skill set needed to work as a front-line employee in a residential, centre-based or community-based agency providing services to individuals with disabilities.

You must be assessed for practicum readiness by the practicum advisor prior to registration.

Prerequisites: Disability Support Worker Certificate Orientation 1, Disability Support Worker Certificate Practicum 1, Crisis Prevention, Employability Skills, Person Centered Planning, Interpersonal Communications, Professional Role, Intro Disability Support Serv, Understand Exceptionalities 2, Completion of all Disability Support Worker certificate theory courses,
