Pre-Technologies Mathematics (MATH 1807)

This non-credit course is a refresher for students entering a SIAST technology program. It is recommended for students who have completed high school math more than five years ago or any student who is anxious about the mathematics component of their program. The course will review the basics of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, exponential and logarithmic equations. Students will have an opportunity to develop skills in problem solving and calculator use. There is no instructor and no book or manual; the course features video demonstrations and animations of mathematical procedures, as well as interactive exercises and quizzes. Students typically work through the course in 10 to 20 hours.

20 hours Students have online access to course material at days and time of their choice. Instructor assistance is not available.
