You will study the development of basic nursing competencies that support health promotion and illness prevention. Your clinical experience will focus on developing your understanding of the concerns of older adults and the support they require in order to remain independent members of their communities.   Equivalent course(s): Core Concepts of Care (NEPS 115), Core Concepts of Care (NURS 115), Nursing Arts 1 Completer (NURS 170)

You are required to attend 2 weekend labs in Regina, dates TBA

Prerequisites: Personal and Professional Relationships 1, Health and Healing 1, Health Challenges 1, Sociology 1, Anatomy and Physiology 1 (162), (concurrent)
