Women in Technology Exploratory Course

The technology division offers this hands-on course to introduce women to a variety of basic technology skills. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued a statement of attendance.

The course will provide women with the opportunity to:

  • practice technical skills in a wide range of technology fields
  • realistically assess their own ability to work in a technology field
  • gain knowledge of the range of possible technology occupations
  • make informed career choices through labour market knowledge
  • enhance self-esteem, self-confidence and self-motivation

We encourage agency sponsorship if you are retraining.
