Life Skills Coach Training (FATR 1616)

You will have a unique “hands-on skills” opportunity to develop your professional facilitation tools. Based on the Saskatchewan NewStart Life Skills training model, this program follows the skills competency guides recommended by the Canadian Alliance of Life Skills Coaches and Associations. Jack Mitchell and Kim Bater, recognized and celebrated life skills coaches, will be the course facilitators. Graduates of this program are working in a wide variety of “people” occupations including training centres, abuse treatment centres, community safe shelters, human resources training, youth agencies and community support services.

Obtain an application package before registering by calling Marnie at (306) 775-7469. Course runs one 4-day weekend (Friday to Monday) each month from Oct-Jun; Apr, May and Jun have 5-day modules, Thursday to Monday. You must enroll in Part 1 and Part 2 in the same training calendar.
