Corporate Career Assessment Services

Business and industry, private consulting firms and community-based organizations requiring career assessment services for their employees or clients may access these services. SIAST Career Enhancement offers a variety of career and aptitude assessment services for referred clients, including Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, GATB and psycho-educational assessments.

Typically, the service includes administration of one or more assessments, an individual comprehensive interpretation session and, where requested, a personalized written report.

Essential Skills and Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES)

Workplace Essential Skills are the foundation and enabling skills that help people learn work skills and perform the tasks required by their jobs. These essential skills are required in every occupation at varying levels of complexity. The Test of Workplace Essential Skills or TOWES is an effective testing tool that uses workplace documents to accurately measure three of the essential skills needed for safe and productive employment. TOWES is the only standardized assessment of essential skills in Canada. SIAST offers TOWES testing services and Essential Skills programming and/or individual consultations.
