Esthetician is a certificate program that provides knowledge and skill development in preventative skin care and treatments to keep skin healthy and attractive. You will receive training in skin care and facials, make-up and application techniques, eyebrow shaping, waxing and tinting, eyelash application and tinting, manicures, artificial nail application, pedicures, unwanted hair removal, colour consultation and specialized skin care.

Esthetician (Level 1 and 2)

Admission Requirements: Grade 11 and English Language Requirement.

Applicant must complete a SIAST application form, pay an application fee and meet academic entrance requirements to the program.

Special Admission: Applicants who do not possess the academic qualifications for the program may be admitted if evidence of probable success can be established.

Graduates of SIAST’s Hairstylist certificate program only need to complete Esthetician Level 2 classes to complete the Esthetician certificate program.

Prerequisites: Standard First Aid and CPR Level “A” are required for occupational and/or clinical placement. Register through SIAST Woodland Campus, call (306) 765-1600.
