This Adobe Photoshop course will have you manipulating and editing images and is ideal for beginning users who want to learn the key Photoshop concepts and techniques. Using hands-on practice, you will establish a firm foundation in Photoshop by mastering the tools and features available to maximize your creative potential. Enhance your ability to create image effects, to retouch images, to work with video files, and to automate repetitive tasks.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 - Intermediate (COAP 1712)
You will build on your basic Photoshop skills (which should include an understanding of all the basic tools and the concepts of working with layers and the canvas). Topics include the use of filters; converting modes for printing; multimedia and the Web; creating special effects; and the retouching and color correction of photographs.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 - Introduction (COAP 1694)
You will learn how to manipulate images and original artwork using a
digital imaging program. Photoshop combines a full range of selection tools, painting and editing tools, color correction tools and special effect capabilities to produce a final high quality image. Topics include: painting and editing; working with selections, paths, masks and channels; and manipulating selections and layers.

Introduction to Dreamweaver CS5 (COAP 1923))
This course will provide an introduction to Dreamweaver without having to delve into code including: Understanding and customizing the DW working environment, creating sites and documents, linking and navigation, site management, typography, images, tables, using layers, using frames, creating forms. Advanced topics will include CSS (cascading style sheets), rollovers and behaviours. Add interactive elements to sites, such as Flash video and animation.

This introductory course will provide an introduction to Flash. You will learn how to work with graphics, create and edit symbols, modify text, add interactivity with ActionScript 3.0, and incorporate animation and sound into your projects. Through hands-on learning you will create and manipulate a wide variety of objects ranging from simple graphics designs to complex animation sequences.
