Architectural and Interior Technologies

Architectural and Interior Technologies is a diploma program. It provides knowledge and skill development in the properties and function of construction materials, criteria and methods of building construction and design, preparing construction documents and contract administration. The Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists’ (CCTT) Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB) accredits the program at the Technologist level.

Selected courses for this program are available through Continuing Education distance and/or on campus learning. The program is available full-time at SIAST Palliser Campus in Moose Jaw. For complete program information, check the program page.

Communication in Technology (TCOM 102)

Your studies will focus on the basic skills required of the technologist in the workplace. You will examine the communication process and interpersonal and workplace communication techniques. The course content includes technical writing job search skills.

Workplace Communication (103) (TCOM 103)

Building on the skills you developed in TCOM 102 (Communication in Technology), you will apply basic research skills to create workplace documents. Your studies will focus on the workplace skills of creating effective client relations, conducting meetings and giving presentations.
