For SIAST transfer credit guidelines, please review SIAST policy A-1.2 (pdf), Recognition of Prior Learning: PLAR and Transfer Credit
If you do not qualify for transfer credit, but you have experiential learning or informal
training, Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) may be an option.
Transfer credits for students enrolled in SIAST Basic Education are not covered within
this policy. If you are a Basic Education student, you can obtain more information
from your program head or counsellor.
